It's been almost a month since I've done any blog post. And, it has been nearly 2 months since I've done a "Music and Musicians" post. If you go back to the beginnings of the series, you'll see that my goal was to allow people to hear, remember and know what real music sounds like. So, if you hear these crazy noises coming out of your radio of the stuff passing as "music" and you ever wonder to yourself real music might actually sound like, come on back to visit this blog. I'll try to keep it updated with good, quality music and musicianship more often.
Here are two great perfomances from Philip Quast from Les Miserables.
The first singer in this second recording is actually Colm Wilkinson. I did a blog post on him in May. Click here to visit that post. In this piece, Philip's solo begins at 1:46.
Do they make 'em like that anymore?
