Ok. For those of you who are never going to listen to the music of this blog because it's too classical, or boring, or old fashioned, it's now time to rock.

I've mentioned before that the some of the most excellent musicians are the ones you've never heard of. Rock and roll is no different. This blog series is about music and musicianship, not hype.

Rhandy Rhoads, whose life was taken prematurely (in 1982) while in a small plane whose pilot was trying tricks slammed into a house, was, in my opinion, one of those guitarists who (although he was a rock guitarist) was also a musician. He was classically trained first, then went on to rock guitar.
There is, unfortunately, very little video of him that I could find.
You can do your own research on him.
